We built Bumblebee Health because we saw a problem in the industry, and because we know what it costs when someone can’t get the help they need.
For years, working at the intersection of healthcare and technology, we kept seeing that same gap: people ready for help, and systems not built to meet them in their moment of need. We didn’t set out to start a healthcare company. We set out to close the distance between the moment someone reaches for help and the moment help reaches back.

Stephen Weis
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Bio
Stephen Weis oversees the operational facets of the business and delivers a unique blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to drive the company toward its goals of providing access to care.
Looking ahead, his goal is continued trailblazing in the telemedicine landscape, and shaping the future of healthcare delivery. He believes that the intersection of technology and healthcare holds the key to solving some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, and is dedicated to ensuring that Bumblebee Health remains at the forefront of this transformative journey.
As a loving husband and devoted father, Stephen loves to unplug with his family on camping trips, trout streams and the golf course.
Dr. Will Heise
Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Bio
Will Heise MD FACMT is the Chief Medical Officer at Bumblebee Health. He is board certified in Medical Toxicology, Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine. Dr. Heise is committed to the evidence-based compassionate care of patients with substance use disorder.
He provides clinical leadership, quality assurance, policy development and direct patient care. He’s also engaged in research and teaching at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. He believes in teaching the next generation of physicians and providers.
Dr. Heise lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his family and enjoys exploring mountain heights, swimming holes and international cities..
Hira Lodhi
Chief Operations Officer
Bio
Hira Lodhi is the Director of Operations at Bumblebee Health. She brings her strong background in business administration to the forefront of her work. Driven by a passion for helping others, Hira is known for her kindness and motivation, thriving on setting and achieving goals while uplifting those around her.
Apart from her professional endeavors, she cherishes quality time with her family, creating lasting memories with her two boys and fostering a nurturing home environment
