CEO
Mona Amini MD, MBA, an esteemed adult board-certified psychiatrist, assumes the role of CEO of Bumblebee Health with a wealth of multi-faceted experience in the domain of mental health. Throughout her illustrious career, she has held numerous administrative and c-suite appointments, positioning herself as a national leader dedicated to addressing mental health concerns and driving awareness. Combining her exceptional medical expertise with astute business acumen, Dr. Amini has lent her valuable insights as a physician consultant to multiple healthcare startups, playing an instrumental role in their success.
Driven by an unwavering desire to make a profound impact on mental health, Dr. Amini has dedicated her entire career to providing unparalleled care to her patients. Her steadfast commitment to excellence has garnered widespread acclaim and recognition within the industry.
In addition to her role as CEO, Dr. Amini possesses a wealth of leadership experience within esteemed organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association. Her influential positions within these institutions have further solidified her status as a respected authority in the field. Furthermore, she served as the esteemed past-president of the Arizona Psychiatric Society, leaving an indelible mark on the organization’s legacy. Recognizing the importance of fostering inclusivity and empowerment, Dr. Amini co-founded the AZ Psychiatric Society’s Women’s Group, exemplifying her commitment to supporting and advancing women within the field.

Will Heise
CMO
Will Heise MD FACMT is the Chief Medical Officer at Bumblebee Health. He is board certified in Medical Toxicology and Family Medicine and board eligible for Addiction Medicine. Dr. Heise is committed to the evidence-based compassionate care of patients with substance use disorder.
He provides clinical leadership, quality assurance, policy development and direct patient care. He’s also engaged in research and teaching at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. He believes in teaching the next generation of physicians and providers. Dr. Heise lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his family and enjoys exploring mountain heights, swimming holes and international cities.
Stephen Weis
COO
Stephen oversees the operational facets of the business and delivers a unique blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to drive the company toward its goals of providing access to care.
Looking ahead, his goal is continued trailblazing in the telemedicine landscape, and shaping the future of healthcare delivery. He believes that the intersection of technology and healthcare holds the key to solving some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, and is dedicated to ensuring that Bumblebee Health remains at the forefront of this transformative journey.
As a loving husband and devoted father, Stephen loves to unplug with his family on camping trips, trout streams and the golf course.
